Our clients can now take advantage of larger 32 GB, 48 GB, and 64 GB DO Premium instances. Remarkably, the 48 GB and 64 GB options are offered solely through Cloudways.

Several clients depend on DigitalOcean (DO) Premium servers for mission-critical applications. With previous server size limitations capped at 16 GB, scaling needs for larger, demanding applications or complex websites became pressing. Larger Standard servers were the only alternative, leading to increased costs.
Exclusive Extra-Large Server Sizes for Our Clients
To address this, we have worked in partnership with DigitalOcean to extend the DO Premium offerings at Cloudways to include three more substantial server sizes: 32 GB, 48 GB, and 64 GB. The latter two offerings are tailor-made for Cloudways clients and provide exclusive benefits.

Upgrading to Larger Droplets: Availability Insights
Note that these expanded Droplets are limited to certain regions and data centers. They will be visible during the server setup process in compatible regions. For newly set up servers, scaling is a simple process.
For servers initiated prior or situated in non-compatible locations, scaling strategies such as cloning might be required to transition seamlessly to the new offerings.
Note: Expect broader availability, including London, in 2024.
